Negative Advertising Conducted by Hillary Clinton

 

Because I live near the border of Indiana, I am getting deluged with political ads from both Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton leading up to the Democratic Indiana Primary. I do not watch a lot of television but last night I watched about 2 hours and wow, was Hillary Clinton negative!!

Just about every break in the shows had at least one commercial for each candidate. EVERY Barack Obama ad was about what HE believed and what HE is doing and about what HE will do.

      

On the other hand, just about every Hillary Clinton ad was a negative attack on Barack Obama. It was not much about her; it was all about attacking Barack Obama.

We do not need four more years of the sleaze with which the Republicans and George Bush have run this Country. That is, apparently, what Hillary will get us. Given Hillary has gone so far to the negative tactics of the right, how can she even call herself a Democrat?

Absolutely! There is no doubt that this monster we have as a President will go down in history as the worst President. Further, I would not be surprised that soon, once all the truth comes out about what has gone on in this White House, he will be brought up on criminal charges, tried and found guilty of crimes against the United States.

What we cannot afford is 4 more years of this moron and that is precisely what we will get if we elect John McCain.

Hillary Clinton - CBS Video Shows Her for The Liar She Is.

Well, the "wicked witch" is finally exposed. She says that she is "human" and she just forgot but really, come on, who forgets if they were under "sniper fire" or not. I think that is something you do not forget. Further, don't you think it would have been a big deal 12 years ago if the first lady of the United States of America was under sniper fire?

She has now been exposed for what she is.. a liar. This video proves that she is making things up to try to win the Presidency. Can you imagine how many times this will be played if she is the nominee against McCain. She will get killed. Here is the video:

Canada Admits to False Statement About Barack Obama - Issues Apology

I wonder how much airplay this will get. Canada admits an official purposefully issued a miss-characterization of Barack Obama's position on NAFTA. They have issued an apology as seen in this CBC report but, as they say, the damage is done.

Also notice how Hillary basically says, almost verbatim, exactly what John McCain said. Now, who can you trust? Barack Obama, even on this situation appears to be far more right than wrong. Canada apologizes. Maybe we could bomb Ottawa then "apologize".

Problems With Hussein? Omar and Abizaid Al Qaeda Sympathizers?

I have listened now for about a month the "uproar" over Barack Obama's middle name. While we know there are racist tendencies concerning his African American heritage, that pales in comparison to the overt racism that the right wing is trying to smear Obama with by constantly discussing his middle name.

This is an easy smear campaign for the right wing. They can say, "Look, why can't I just say his middle name, I am not saying anything "bad" about it". In fact that is what the Nazi (Sean Hannity) and the nut (John Gibson) are doing on radio and T.V. Of course, they know by doing that they are stirring up the racist fears in much of their overtly racist audience.

They could easily report something like, "Yes, his middle name is Hussein but there are no ties to a Muslim religion in his name as Obama is a devout Christian. In fact, his middle name is a little like "John" in the rest of the world and is very similar to the fact that one of our all time greatest generals ever, General Omar Bradley, also had a name of Middle Eastern descent. But, we would never accuse Omar Bradley of being an early Muslim radical supporter so making that connection to Obama because his middle name is "Hussein" would be equally inaccurate, wrong, and racist."  But, no, they do not do that. That is real reporting you will never see on the Fox Idiot Network .

They continue to use the word knowing they are leading their audience into a thought that is wrong. The Nazi even has segments called, "Is it wrong to talk about his middle name". Let's create a story where there is none. He is feeding his racist audience's fears and he knows it. He is a racist himself.

For the more educated and reasonable, there is Juan Cole who writes a great article about this and talks about other great Americans who have had Muslim/Middle Eastern names. He discusses the origin of Omar in Omar Bradley, discusses Abizaid as in General Abizaid, and points out that McCain's adopted daughter is from Bangladesh where Hussein is a very common name.

But, the strategy of the Republicans since the year 2000 has been very clear, concise and straightforward. It is all about taking advantage of the American populace and keeping them very scared. The very smart people, they just keep rich through big tax breaks and idiotic policies which have, for example, someone making $100M per year paying the same Social Security tax as someone who makes $100K per year. "Keep the bad people rich and the good people scared" is the mantra of the Bush administration through Karl Rove.

You would have thought that given what happened to McCain in South Carolina in the 2000 election he would have never done this to anyone else. Rather than learn what not to do, apparently the Republican machine has taught McCain what works. And, what works, is apparently all McCain and the Republican machine care about.

American is certainly in it's "Dark Ages" right now and I am not sure what, if anything, will get it out beyond electing Barack Obama.

We have a chance America.. .let's not blow it. Donate to Barack Obama and Make a Change... do not allow more of the same politics!!

Michigan Democrats Now Want to Vote.. Again...

I think it is very insightful into how Hillary Clinton would govern when you look at what is going on with Florida and Michigan (My home state). She agreed to the party rules stating that if Michigan violated the party mandate on when to hold the primary, their delegates would not count and they would not campaign there. It is a very simple agreement.

Yet now Hillary needs those delegates to win. Since she needs them she has completely turned and is now saying "it would be only fair to let them be seated". Two problems with this:

First, she knows that her name was on the Michigan ballot and Barack's was not. Therefore, confused Democrats either did not go to the polls knowing, being told their vote did not count, or went there and saw only one name on the ballot they recognized. Further, in Michigan, write ins do not count so if you wanted a snow ball's chance in hell of Obama to be elected you had to vote "uncommitted". I wonder just how many people knew this rule? It was well advertised but in all the areas where the average person may not see it.

So, she is pulling a "hanging chad" out of her hat showing that she is absolutely no different than George Bush. She has the "red phone" ad to scare people, she is running as a "war" candidate and now she is showing, like Bush, if you cannot win the election, just try to steal it.

One thing I can assure Hillary of and that is that if I want another George Bush, I hate to tell her, but John McCain would be my man. Hillary is telling the voters that there are three very important things in this election: experience, who can "answer the phone" (BTW, wasn't Bill "on the phone" at 3:00am or so when Monica was... ah... never mind), and who can you trust.

Again, if those are the three biggest issues, it is John McCain all the way. She does not hold a candle to him in foreign affairs/defense, certainly he would be better at answering the call, and given what is going on in Michigan, there is no way I could ever trust her.

Hillary has killed the Democratic party's chances to win a Presidency. Like cyanide put into Kool-aid, Hillary has assured that everyone will go down if she goes down.

You need to go to this web site (Hotline) to hear the conversation between Hillary Clinton Advisers (Mark Penn, Howard Wolfson and Lee Feinstein) and the press in a press call conducted on February 29th.

They are asked to point to one example where they can show as an example of her "vast experience" in foreign affairs. There is absolute dead silence on the other end of the phone as they scramble to make up something. They then dodge the question and go into what 4 star generals are supporting her.

Even though we know she has very little, you think they would have at least been prepared for this.
