Blackfive Says Cindy McCain Has Class - Well, Let's Ignore the Stealing Drugs Part

I do believe Michelle Obama is very smart but I am not one to care too much about the first lady. She has no power and is not in any line of succession so who really cares. But, if the Pubes are going to slam Michelle and hold up Cindy McCain as the class act of the campaign, I must respond.

We all know the Blackfive site is just a Government propaganda machine with little or no real thought. But recently they posted how "bad" Michelle is and how much "class" Cindy has. Well, uh, I guess they left out the fact that Cindy is a drug addict. Or the fact that she stole her drugs from a non - profit organization. Or that she went into rehab to avoid a criminal conviction. The story goes something like this:

"In 1994 she [Cindy McCain] admitted that for three years she became addicted to painkillers...To make matters worse, it emerged that she had stolen pills from the American Voluntary Medical Team, a third world relief organisation that she had founded. Mrs McCain entered a rehab programme rather than face criminal charges."

Now that is class!! Great investigative work Blackfive. Another superb analysis of people's character!

Uncle Jimbo at BlackFive Commits "Mea Culpa" and Agrees with Me

I was doing my normal review of the Blackfive site for laughs and giggles when I came across the posting below from "Uncle Jumbo". For almost 1.5 years, he has been telling me that those who do not agree with Bush are "defeatists" and "do not support the troops" yet now, it appears, he has had a change of heart.

I will not spend hours linking everything as everyone who is a reader of my site knows that I have said Rumsfeld et AL. had no idea what they were doing since day 1. Remember when the "liberals" were all saying it was an insurgency and the "Uncle Jumbos" of the world were saying we had no idea what we were talking about? Well, it appears we did and, as Uncle Jumbo says, if Rumsfeld and the whacked out Noe cons had listened to us "liberals" they would have been far better off.

One thing I find very interesting is when UJ says that he knew Rumsfeld was wrong but he vocalized public support for him so that he could "support the troops". UJ, that is cowardly! Imagine all the troops that died while you "knew the battle strategy was wrong" but you "supported the troops". That makes you complicit in the death of those soldiers because, in your own words, you did not act on or vocalize the known problems with the battle. I am sure those families of dead soldiers who were killed during the Rumsfeld denial of the insurgency are glad you "supported the troops".

Their Hope is To Sling Mud - Not Going There

Well, you have to see this to believe it. Over at Blackfive, they are hoping we can get into the mud and roll around like pigs - their favorite sport apparently. I, of course, will not do that. They are trying to suck us into a mudslinging contest much like their political allies, Karl Rove et al.

Suffice it to say, we will not "go there". What we will do is continue to monitor the Blackfive site and rebut anything they say that is not true (which are most things). We will continue to rebut their dangerous political views and we will continue to call them out when they take the intelligent approach of "America - love it or leave it".

So, when something serious is posted there, I will let you know.

No need to respond to his posting.. it speaks for itself. This is the type of enemy we face. Far more dangerous than Osama is right now, that is for sure. Fight THIS enemy in the ring of ideas and thought and I guarantee you, it will be an easy win.

Now, one serious "watch" item. They claim that Petraeus' biggest enemy is in Washington as anyone who is not against colonial invasions of other countries must be an enemy of the state. Does that sound like - nah, won't say it but suffice it say if you read how totalitarian regimes get control of their populations usually it is with the time honored tradition of saying, "You are either with us or against us". No way anyone could have a debate about this topic without being against America.

As for the Senate vote to confirm Petraeus, this is a red herring. What the vote shows is that the General in charge is insignificant. This policy is being run by the White House. Proof? Two weeks prior to the "surge" being announced, a key General in Iraq said to Congress that no new troops were needed. General Abizaid said on November 15th, 2006:

"[I] met with every divisional commander, Gen. Casey, the core commander, Gen. Dempsey” and asked them if bringing “in more American troops now,
[would] add considerably to our ability to achieve success in Iraq and they all said ‘no.’”

November 15th! So, what the vote showed was just how insignificant the American Military leadership has been during this war and continues to be. The vote was basically saying, "Sure, go ahead, put whoever you want in there, you have screwed it up so bad this can't hurt..."

Nice try with the Redherring.. but you will need more than that.

Blackfive and Douglas Feith

I am adding a category called "Blackfive Watch" because this guy is dangerous and funny at the same time. I figured we could get some yucks out of him while we ensure that he is not allowed to post right wing nuttery without a rebuttal.

So, let's start with an easy one like the Blackfive defense of the now known lunatic, Douglas Feith. Blackfive and his comrades who goosestep right behind him spent a lot of time showing just how great Feith was and how, as one commenter put it, Feith should be awarded the medal of freedom.

However, in Bob Woodward's book, "Plan of Attack", Tommy Franks says the following about Feith:

"Feith is the f***ing stupidest guy on the face of the earth".

Blackfive and his ilk think Feith is great. Well, they run in packs I guess.
