There are Holes in Sarah Palin's Story... and Some Downright Lies...

CBS News does an excellent "factcheck" on the Palin stories. Watch the You Tube below for all the data but here are some facts:

• She was not always against the "bridge to nowhere" in fact, she actively supported it when she was running for Governor.
• Once she realized the bridge to nowhere was getting cut by Congress, she started saying she was against it. But, even though the project was killed, she KEPT THE MONEY for "other projects". 
• She is not against earmarks. In fact, she has APPLIED FOR $197 Million in 2009 for "earmark projects". 
• When she was the mayor of podunk Alaska she applied for and received $11.9M in earmarks while at the same time suggesting books should be censored in the library (We know the last guy who did that) 

So, the bloom is off this rose. I think what we are finding is she is one heck of an ambitious lady who will stop at nothing (lies, deceit etc.) to get a title and recognition. But, this is not the recognition she was anticipating. As of yesterday, the Republicans had pulled her out of sight and, I am sure, are giving some big coaching lessons to her.
