The Policy on IRR and MSO Is Posted HERE!
Thanks to one of my loyal and great Command T.O.C. readers, I now have a copy of a March 6th memorandum which outlines the "flim flam" that the Army is pulling on IRR Soldiers. Basically, it states the rule of what to do with IRR Officers who hit their MSO before deployment is under review but they say that the ruling last November (allowing officers to resign if they hit their MSO prior to deployment) is not an "on going" rule.

The morons who are making these statements are: Mr. Rowland Heflin, phone number 703-695-7277 (Army G-1) and LTC Scott Marlin, phone number 314-592-0678.
From the sounds of the Memorandum, it looks like Mr. Heflin is making up policy as he goes along. I highly recommend that you contact your Congressman immediately to seek permanent and authoritative clarification.
