So many right wing nut web sites are struggling to make up find facts to support President Bush but when I read Black Five's site, I just about exploded. His comment:
" I believe the President is right to not interfere with a private transaction between a British firm and one from Dubai..."
Ah, Black Five, you need to understand that firm is a Government owned entity! This is not like Texaco buying Chevron, this is an Arab Country, which was directly involved in 9/11, taking control of our ports. Next thing you know, we will outsource our Mexican border control to the Mexican Army!
As for who to trust? Well, if we are going to have a Government entity run our ports, how about OUR Government? With all of its issues, I would rather have our Government run it versus the Government of the UAE.
Media Lies writes in "Any port in a storm" that the people who are against this are "xenophobic" because they do not want "Arabs" running our ports. Well, first, it is not any Arab but do I want the Arabs who financed 9/11 and spawned two of the 9/11 terrorists to run the ports? Do I want the Arabs who are in the CIA World book as being a known drug trafficking and money laundering country? No!
Let's bring our troops home and have them run the ports.
